On Sunday, May 18 over 45,000 participants and 2,500 volunteers gathered in Central Park for AIDS Walk New York 2008. Together, they brought with them over $7 million in donations collected form over half a million individual donors, making this year’s event the most successful and well attended AIDS Walk in our 23 year history. Thank you for helping to make AIDS Walk New York a resounding success!

As participation in the AIDS Walk continues to flourish beyond our wildest dreams, the practical and logistical challenges of keeping our walkers safe and happy throughout the day also increase. The successful realization of this event relies entirely on the lasting relationships that AIDS Walk has with companies like IPSA, and the singular experience we are able to provide our walkers would not be possible without your collaboration. On behalf of the AIDS Walk New York staff, gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC), and the 15,000 men, women and children who benefit from GMHC services each year, thank you for your support of AIDS Walk New York 2008.
